Dallas Lease Return is an indoor car showroom with a unique operating strategy. Dallas Lease Returns lowered the overhead by teaming up with affiliated leasing companies to offer off-lease vehicles direct to the public for 21 days. MnKhan Architects was hired to convert an 80,000 SF 1980s warehouse in Addison to a trendy open car display and sales facility. A portion of the renovated space is occupied by the customer lobby, seating, and offices. The rest of the floor area is occupied by rows and rows of car displays ranging from upscale brands to very affordable models. The drop in ceiling and carpeted small offices were converted to high ceiling open spaces. The flooring has been restored to be polished concrete. The display area is very energy conscience and uses evenly spread LED lighting and large exhaust fans.  The doors open to mechanically ventilating the space. The owners are very happy with the design and believes the comfort and well-lit spaces are boosting their sales.
